The role encompasses business development, expert witness services, hull and machinery damage surveys, fuel quality investigations, and loss prevention support. You will also be responsible for developing the wider marine engineering team and promoting Solis Marine's services to the market.
The suitable candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
• STCW Chief Engineer Unlimited III/2 Certificate of Competency
• Significant seagoing experience, including having sailed as chief engineer
• Experience working in a marine consultancy and providing expert witness services would be highly beneficial
• A proven track record in business development and growth of consultancy services
• Experience in mentoring and developing team members
This will be a UK or Singapore based position and will require international travel.
