Ros is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Solis Marine. As a naval architect and chartered engineer, she specialises in salvage, wreck removal and shipping incident investigations, providing expert advice on complex and politically sensitive operations worldwide.

Ros has provided written and oral expert evidence in court and arbitration proceedings. In 2024, she gave evidence in the High Court of Singapore on behalf of OCBC regarding the capsize of the jack-up rig 'TERAS LYZA', and coordinated the shoreline response to the 'MARINE HONOUR' oil spill in Singapore on behalf of both vessel insurers and the Government of Singapore.

Her casualty management work includes development of salvage specifications, management of bid evaluation processes and on-site operational oversight for a wide range of vessel types.

Ros acted as project manager for the conversion of the PSV 'GREEN PIONEER' to operate on ammonia fuel - the world's first ammonia fuelled vessel.

With a background in offshore design, Ros has strong technical expertise in complex hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analyses, with significant experience in offshore installations, moorings, ocean transport, motion analyses and metocean studies.

As a Trustee of the Marine Technology Trust, Ros is committed to providing opportunities for young engineers in the maritime sector and addressing gender diversity in the industry.

Ros graduated from the University of Southampton with a First Class Master of Engineering degree in Ship Science in 2006.
